This last Halloween I decided to make some wickedly delicious theme cupcakes so of course I choose a red raspberry vanilla base and covered them in vanilla buttercream and fake blood!

  • Fist I made a basic vanilla cake base and mashed about 2 cups of red raspberries into the wet part of the ingredients before combining the dry.
  • Next I made a basic vanilla buttercream.
  • Waited for my cupcakes to cool and then proceeded to cover them in a fake blood sugar glaze!
  • For my bloody glaze I choose to mix confectioners sugar, water and red food dye until it was to my desired consistency.
